  • “My daughter started her Handprints journey earlier this year. The educators from Nursery room were very caring so she was able to settled in a short period of time. She enjoyed every single day at Handprints, she has built strong physical, social interaction and language skills over past few months. All the educators and the management team are very friendly, dedicated, professional and wonderful! Thank you!”

    — Lisa

  • I cannot rate this centre highly enough - this is the BEST daycare centre. Everything from the way the centre is managed day to day to the daily updates & photos the educators provide is above and beyond my expectations. The staff genuinely care for your children. I have two kids attending this centre (5M old and 18M old) and it will be a sad day if we one day have to leave. My 18M old daughter loves the teachers so much that she goes to sleep singing their names and literally runs into her classroom every morning.

Thank you Julie, Jasmine, Maggie, Alma, Aria & the rest of the team - we appreciate everything you do.

Handprints Turramurra is a wonderful space for children, families and educators and reflects our Philosophy through the physical and social environments. We will continue to use high quality teaching strategies including utilising small groups so children can learn from each other as well as their teachers and an indoor/outdoor flexible program.

Our Turramurra educators and children have also begun venturing out on excursions for children of all ages. They visit the local growers’ market and the playground down the road, to ensure children are building connections with the community and learning to live in the real world. We value a slow increase in numbers of children into the service, giving the educators the time to get to know each individual child and family, and ensure we are finding ways to value their personal experiences and family culture within our environment.

Turramurra Director

Becoming an early childhood educator is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have been working in the early childhood profession for 10 years, including one year of experience overseas. I love watching children grow and learn, and especially enjoy watching their face as they discover something new. I love having a chat with children, even very young children, and listening to their thoughts, needs, ideas and anything they want to express.

I believe strong relationships are key for our children’s learning and supporting families. As a mum of a young child, I have experienced how important relationships are between children, educators, families and the community. As Handprints strongly supports the development of relationships, I know it will be the best place to start my journey as a Director. I will strive to make Handprints Turramurra a place where children can happily play and explore their sense of wonder and curiosity, a safe and secure place for children and their families, and a place where any family member can freely talk about their stories and experiences. My door will be always open for children, families and educators!
